New Leadership at Wood Herron & Evans

Cincinnati, OH – March 26, 2019 – Wood Herron & Evans LLP, an Intellectual Property boutique firm located in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio, is pleased to announce the election of new members to its Executive Committee.

The Firm’s Executive Committee is composed of 3 elected members, whose three-year terms are staggered. The newest member of the EC is Stephen Gillen. Steve joined the firm as a partner in 2010. He counsels clients in publishing and entertainment transactions and disputes, Internet issues, advertising law, computer law, copyrights, and related matters. His clients have included publishers, authors, artists, photographers, videographers, independent producers, Internet service providers, multimedia developers, and software programmers from Maine to California.

Steve is a lifelong Cincinnatian who now lives in Columbia Tusculum. In addition to his practice and service on several non-profit boards, Steve serves as an adjunct assistant professor of electronic media law in the E-Media Division at UC’s College Conservatory of Music and in the Electronic Media Communications Department on its Blue Ash Campus.

Steve joins David Fitzgerald II, a patent attorney with an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Ohio State University whose EC term will continue through 2020, and Gregory Ahrens, an intellectual property litigator with an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin whose EC term runs through the remainder of 2019.
