Wood Herron & Evans at BLINK Cincinnati

Wood Herron & Evans attorney Tom Humphrey and Patent Illustrator Kevin Brenner, along with a group of Wood Herron & Evans clients, volunteered their time, resources, equipment, and ingenuity to build the golf cart characters that opened the BLINK Parade earlier this month.

BLINK is one of the largest light, art and projection mapping events in the nation. Held October 10-13, 2019, this free four-day event took place in downtown Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky, spanning more than 30 city blocks and crossing the historic John A. Roebling Suspension Bridge over the Ohio River. BLINK turned the region into an outdoor art museum with large-scale projection mapping installations, murals, and immersive art.

The golf carts (new and improved versions of the golf carts that opened the Blink Parade in 2017) were upgraded with LED technology and improved battery-powered glowing "noodles" made by the design team. The design team created digital animated faces on all three carts and those carts led the Blink Parade and entertained visitors all four nights. Wood Herron & Evans was thrilled to play this small role in the City's Blink celebration. If you enjoyed Blink, we hope you caught sight of the golf carts as they made their way around Cincinnati and Covington!
