Dr. Steven W. Benintendi is a Partner with Wood Herron & Evans and his practice includes the preparation and prosecution of domestic and international patent applications, enforcement, client counseling, legal opinions, and strategic planning. He concentrates his practice primarily in the area of mechanical technologies, including mechanical systems for wind turbines, orthodontic devices and methods, biomedical devices, child vehicles and toys, and fuel distribution systems. Prior to receiving his law degree, Steve worked as a Post-doctorate Fellow in the Biomedical Engineering Department at the University of Michigan and is a past adjunct professor for the Department of Mechanical Engineering and the Department of Mathematics at the University of Dayton. Steve resides in Cincinnati with his wife Jessica and their four children.

Steve is an avid martial artist and believes that martial art training provides many benefits to children and to the community as a whole. Steve is the owner and operator of Panther’s Lair Martial Arts in Newtown, Ohio, where he works with children and adults to instill discipline, confidence, self-esteem, knowledge and respect. Panther’s Lair is active in the community through its annual food drive benefiting a local food pantry as well as its support of various charitable events.
